Sammendrag
In the present article, Tikhonov and Lim attempt to make clear that “Communism,” while definitely being the ultimate aim of colonial-age Korean Communists, does not provide a full description of the objectives of the Communist movement. Rather than being utopia followers, Communists operated with both maximal and minimal programs; the latter aimed both at Korea’s national independence and a thorough democratization of the Korean society.
