Sammendrag
This thesis presents premarital pregnancy as a theological issue. it focuses on the discipline of the SDA church in Accra, Ghana on premarital pregnancy. The study employs semi-structured interviews with twelve ordained and two licensed pastors of different branches of the SDA church in Accra. The main purpose was to ascertain their perspectives about the church discipline and as leaders, implement it in their various local churches. The main theories utilized in this study are ethical theories and Bevans' models of contextual theology. The findings reveal salient characteristics about their perceptions of the church discipline and inclinations in their praxis as they act on premarital pregnancy cases in their individual churches that are enriching to academic work, pastoral ministries and the context it investigates.
