Sammendrag
The main objective of this thesis is to explain the rights that the consumers are entitled to have in the contracts for the supply of digital content. One of the most important issues is the classification of digital content contract within contract law. The research later explains how consumers interests are safeguarded by this contract and in what way they are limited. At the end it analyzes the contradictions that exist between copyright law and consumer protection legislation related to digital content transactions. It is important to identify adequately the characteristics of digital content in order to understand the rights and the responsibilities of a consumer in a contract for the supply of digital content.
