Sammendrag
This thesis is about the Harry Potter series and in particular the important character of Albus Dumbledore. J.K Rowling’s series is still a very popular series, and it has a massive audience. This series does not only engage children and young adults, but readers of all ages enjoy this series. This thesis focuses on the ethics of Albus Dumbledore, and mainly Dumbledore as a moral leader and ideal in the series. When Albus Dumbledore was exposed in the last installment of the series, Deathly Hallows, the remaining books must the viewed differently along with his actions. This thesis questions his actions as well as his motives when investigating if Albus Dumbledore deserves to be counted as the moral ideal in the series.
