dc.description.abstractMed datalagringsdirektivet må alle data forbindelser lagres. Med nettverksprosessorer kan dette løses. Alle pakker blir behandlet med nettverksprosessorer og en StrongARM variant, som heter XScale, sender de ferdige forbindelsene til vertsmaskina over PCI bussen. Man får til slutt en SQL database med alle forbindelsen og data om disse. Bruker Intel IXP2400 chipsetet på et Radisys ENP2611 kort.nor
dc.description.abstractWe are making a system for monitoring computer network. To do this we are using network processors. Every packet is read by them and a XScale CPU, based on StrongARM, is sending the finished streams to the host computer over the PCI bus. At the end you get a SQL database with all streams. We are using a Intel IXP2400 chipset in a Radisys ENP2611 card.eng
