This thesis looks at the introduction of controlled dynamic noise on an Integrate and Fire Neuron in Neuromorphic Electronics. The idea behind this is to decorrelate the outputs of a population of neurons, both to improve the throughput in Addresse-Event Representation and for Spatial Noise Shaping of population spike codes. Several methods for noise generation are presented. The approach used to generate the noise is by amplification of thermal noise, which is then led together with the input current to charge the membrane of the neuron.nor
