En muslims bekjennelse av nattverd

Abstract

Denne avhandlingen er et forsøk på å utforske mulighetene for at det kan forekomme en muslimsk deltakelse i nattverd. Det teoretiske aspektet ved forskning er basert på interdisiplinær- antropologisk, teologisk, fenomenologisk og interreligiøs tilnærming. Studien tar utgangspunkt i perspektivene til seks prester fra Den norske kirke. Gjennom den empiriske analysen skaper jeg et rammeverk ved å se på følgende temaer: identitet, gudskonseptet, synet på den andre og intensjon. Disse temaene illustrere spenningen mellom teologi, akademia og religion som levende fenomen. Funnene i denne oppgaven viser at en muslimsk deltakese i nattverd kan være en mulighet. Det krever å måtte overkomme utfordringer rundt dogmatikken og kirkesynet, med formål om å se liturgien i nytt lys. Fra den islamske siden kreves det å ta stilling til spørsmålet om treenigheten og hvordan Jesu-sikkelsen forstås.

This thesis is an attempt to explore the possibility of a Muslim participation in communion. The theoretical aspect of research is based on interdisciplinary-anthropological, theological, phenomenological and interreligious approaches. The study is based on the perspectives of six priests from the Norwegian Church. Through the empirical analysis, I create a framework by looking at the following themes: identity, the concept of God, the view of the other and intention. These themes illustrate the tension between theology, academia and religion as a living phenomenon. The findings in this paper show that a Muslim participation in communion may be an opportunity. It requires facing challenges around dogmatics and church views, with the goal of seeing the liturgy in new light. From the Islamic side, it is necessary to address the question of the Trinity and how Jesus is viewed.
