Abstract

Formålet med denne studien er å undersøke sammenhengen mellom endodontisk prognose og graden av marginalt bennivå ved rotfyllingstidspunktet. Vi fant ingen signifikant sammenheng mellom det marginale bennivået og utvikling av periapikal status ved ettårskontroll, så det kan synes som om marginalt belastede tenner kan ha like god endodontisk prognose som marginalt friske tenner.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the connection between endodontic prognosis and the marginal bone level at the time of endodontic treatment. We found no significant connection between the marginal bone level and periapical status at the one year follow up. It may seem that periodontally compromised teeth can have a prognose comparable to periodontally healthy teeth.
