A total of 12 cooking pits, 3 hearths and 2 unexcavated postholes were uncovered during an excavation at Slyngveien 17, Voksen 27/465. The cooking pits were both round and rectangular in form and were dug into the softer gravels which lay to the east of an area of bedrock. Two of the hearths and one of the cooking pits were placed directly onto the bedrock. Six charcoal samples were sent to NTNU which dated the activity to between 370 BC and 440 AD, however most of the activity occurred between 80 and 440 AD. Prosjektleder: Margrete Simonsenen_US
