Radiorevolusjonen

Abstract

Dette er en todelt masteroppgave. Del en er radiodokumentaren Radiorevolusjonen. Del to er dette refleksjonsnotatet. Radiorevolusjonen handler om revolusjonen på Filippinene i 1986. Historien er sett gjennom øynene på en gruppe mennesker som jobbet med å sende revolusjonen på direktesendt radio. Det de gjorde var farlig og ulovlig, siden diktator Ferdinand Marcos hadde innført full mediesensur på Filippinene. Dokumentaren formidler denne historien ved hjelp av mennesker som var til stede da det skjedde og arkivopptak fra radiosendingene. Til sist tar den et blikk på hvordan forholdene er på Filippinene i dag. Dette refleksjonsnotatet tar for seg de utfordringene og dilemmaene jeg hadde i prosessen med å lage Radiorevolusjonen og hvordan jeg håndterte disse. This Masters thesis consists of two parts. Part one is the radio documentary Radiorevolusjonen (The Radio Revolution). Part two is this written report. Radiorevolusjonen revolves around the revolution in the Philippines in 1986. The history is told through the eyes of a group of people who broadcast the revolution on live radio. What they did was dangerous and illegal, seiing as dictator Ferdinand Marcos had ordered full media censorship. The documentary tells the story with the help of people who were there when it happened, supplemented by clips from the radio archives. Towards the end, it takes a brief look at the situation in the Philippines today. This written report discusses the challenges and dilemmas I faced in the making of Radiorevolusjonen and how I dealt with these.
