After a century of traditional broadcasting, this is the history of how the radio as a medium entered the web world, becoming web-based radios. Our case is based on an Italian web-radio, Radio Casa Bertallot, which started to make radio programmes using the possibilities of new media technology and the internet to create a platform for interacting with the users. The founder Alessio Bertallot, expressed his view on the radio production by describing the radio as, a place, as a home, a room, a broadcast. A new way of making radio was introduced, inviting users/consumers to become co-active producers and creators in his own web-radio.eng
