Oppgaven tar for seg de ulike erstatningsutmålingsreglene for lovlig og ulovlig ekspropriasjon i internasjonale investeringsavtaler. Videre behandler oppgaven ulike verdsettelsesmetoder for å fastsette erstatning i tråd med reglene.

This thesis discusses the different compensation standards for lawful and unlawful expropriation in Investment treaty law. The thesis also tackles various methods for calculating compensation in accordance with the standards.
