dc.description.abstractAt the LHCb experiment at CERN it was found in 2011 a clear signal for CP-violation in the charm sector, more precise in the D-meson decay modes D0 → π+π− and D0 → K+K− in combination. The result has turned out to be difficult to describe in the Standard Model of elementary particles. Various scenaries beyond the Standard Model (often called "New Physics") have been proposed (-as an example: Altmannshofer et al, JHEP04(2012)049). Within the present project we will consider the mentioned decay modes within the Standard Model, in a way to study if in this case CP violation can be explain completely in the SM or New Physics is need it.eng
