Abstract
This litterary review deals with the relation between attachment, affect regulation and coping; in an attempt to examine wether these factors can be part of a possible explanatory model for understanding why some adolescent commtis sexual offence. It concludes that some litterature points to a connection between childhood neglect; insecure and desorganized attachment; and maladptive affect regulation and coping strategies, that may partly explain why some adolescent commits sexual offence. It is, however, not enough research on the topic to make more than a preliminary conclusion.
