Vokal i Neo-soul

Abstract

Masteroppgaven består av mikrorytmiske analyser av tre sanger innen neo-soul der jeg ser nærmere på fenomenet vokal som ligger bakpå i forhold til komp. Det er fokus på hvilke mikrorytmiske mønstre som finner sted i vokal som ligger bakpå, og en del av oppgaven er å sammenligne mønstrene med andre sjangere som neo-soul er inspirert av.

This thesis contains microrhythmic analysis of three songs from the genre neo-soul where I look closer on the phenomenon vocal that is behind the rest of the band. I focus on the microrhythmical patterns that take place in vocal that is behind, and a part of the thesis is comparing these patterns with others genres that neo-soul is influenced by.
