The genus Nothochrysa (Planipennia, Chrysopidae) in Norway

Abstract

The genus Nothochrysa is reported for the first time from Norway. The two species N. flaviceps (Stephens, 1836) and N. capitata (Fabricius, 1793) were captured in light-traps in Kristiansand (VAY) in 1999. The biology and distribution are briefly discussed, and a key to identify the two species is supplied. Both species should be included in the national red-list with the category «declining, care demanding» (DC) or «declining, monitor species» (DM). Posted here with permission from the journal.
