dc.description.abstractThis thesis describes the development of the Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS) for CubeSTAR. CubeSTAR is a small 2-U unit CubeSat satellite developed by students at the University of Oslo. In this thesis a module card for the ADCS has been developed. The complete hardware has been developed for the fulfilling of the entire ADCS. The hardware consists of magnetometer, MEMS gyroscope, coil drivers and an FPGA for the necessary computational power for the complete ADCS. The gyroscope and magnetometer have been calibrated. The coil drivers have been tested and verified.eng
