Handbook in Acute Conventional Roentgenology Radiological diagnostic by conventional roentgen examination is quite often performed by a clinical physician alone, without the involvement of a radiologist. With this in mind, I have composed a handbook which deals with the cases where such diagnostic is considered helpful in the acute investigation. I have made a list of what to look for in the x-ray films, described the pathological findings and finally suggested a decent way to go forward in detecting them. In the making of this book I have followed an experienced radiologist in his daily work at Sykehuset Innlandet Kongsvinger. I have taken part in the investigations, discussed the cases and together we have agreed on the book`s contents. This is not a text-book in radiology and the descriptions are not in any way complete. We have taken the liberty of utilizing mere judgement when deciding what to include and what to exclude from the text. This is written with one purpose, to be useful in practice.nor
