The idea of this web page is to give information about central topics of pregnancy and labour in an easy, understandable way.

Being pregnant and giving birth to a child is an amazing experience. It is commom to have many questions and worries.

The first main issue on the web page is family planning. You can read about the fertile time, which time a month one actually can get pregnant. It is important to plan the pregnancy in order to avoid potential harmful effects on the foetus.

The second main issue is antenatal care. A doctor and a midwife follows up the health of both foetus and mother. The health card is a journal for pregnant, and is the same for all of Norway.

The third main issue is the developement of the foetus. Follow the foetus week by week, from conseption to birth.

The fourth main issue is about concerns and worries in pregnancy, in alphabetical order there is about 60 issues on the list.
