dc.description.abstract | Sammendrag:
The thesis aims to investigate how three inter-related dimensions of caring are
presented in two selected novels and their film adaptations. The literary texts
are A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway and The English Patient by Michael
Ondaatje. The main purpose of the thesis is to place two of the main charcters,
the nurses Catherine and Hana, within Kari Martinsen's theory of caring. | nor |
