dc.description.abstract1,2,3- Triazole analoger av combretastatin A-4 har lovende og interessant inhibering av tubulin og viser cytotoksisk effekt i flere kreftcelle-linjer. Slike triazoler kan dannes med en termal Huisgen cycloaddisjonsreaksjon eller med en magnesium katalysert metode. Begge metodene har ulemper; termal cycloaddisjon gir to regioisomerer og den magnesium katalysert reaksjonen er inkompatibel med flere funksjonelle grupper, slik som nitro-gruppen. I denne masteroppgaven har alternative metoder for syntese av 1,2,3-triazole analoger av combretastatin A-1 og A-4 blitt undersøkt. I nærvær av tetra-ethyl ammonium hydroksid ble ønsket 1,5-disubstituert 1,2,3-triazole analoger fremstilt.nor
dc.description.abstract1,2,3-Triazole analogues of Combretastatin A-4 have interesting tubulin inhibition and cytotoxic effects against several cancer cell lines. These triazoles were attained by either the thermal Huisgen cycloaddition reaction or by a magnesium catalyzed method. Both methods have disadvantages; thermal cycloaddition yields two regioisomers and the magnesium catalyzed reaction is intolerant with substituents, such as the nitro-group. In this thesis alternative methods for the synthesis of 1,2,3-triazole analogues of Combretastatin A-1 and A-4 were investigated. In the presence of tetra-ethyl ammonium hydroxide the desired 1,5-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazole analogues were attained.eng
