| dc.description.abstract | In Europe, statistical evidence shows a decline in human mortality over the 20th century. The growing mortality concern led actuaries to consider a dynamic and stochastic survival model in order to forecast realistic survival probabilities in the future. This thesis studies the estimation of two dynamic and stochastic survival models for several European countries and compare their results. Thesis also discusses the economic consequences of mortality decline. | eng |
