Broderfolk, men ikke våpenbrødre?

Abstract

Oppgaven undersøker Sveriges sikkerhetspolitiske syn på sine to naboland, Norge og Finland, i perioden 1948-1949. Sentralt for disse to årene er forhandlingene mellom Finland og Sovjetunionen om den såkalte Vennskaps-, Samarbeids- og Bistandsavtalen (VSB-avtalen), og de skandinaviske forsvarsforhandlingene.

This thesis investigates Sweden's security policy outlooks on its two neighboring countries, Norway and Finland, during the period of 1948-1949. Central to these two years are the negotiations between Finland and the Soviet Union over the so-called Agreement of Friendship, Cooperation, and Mutual Assistance of 1948, and later on, the Scandinavian defense negotiations.
